Portrait of my sister, Veerle with a protective mask.
Part of my Corona series, painted during C19 lockdown...Yes, we are still under restrictions here and masks are mandatory to go out of the house. Same in the North of Italy, where my sister lives in the beautiful Parma. She was able to go to the hairdresser`s meanwhile and we had a laugh about our Corona-hairdo`s... Hey, long as we`re healthy and safe!
Greetings, my friends.
Christel.
I`m a Belgian painter from the beautiful city of Ghent in Flanders. I have a great love of portraits; trying to capture the moment and the feeling in the subject`s eyes. My work focuses on the human form; faces and nudes. I'm inspired by all things beautiful and often by books, music and films. Thanks for your visit here! Christel. (All rights reserved.
