Sept. 13th, exercise in oil.
I`ve always worked in acrylics until now, but I am learning oils, so it`s back to basics, and very frustrating sometimes…publishing my exercises in oil to share here.
Portrait inspired by an old B&W French Western (believe it or not,... they made some cowboy movies in the early 1900`s in France and in Italy....totally kitch!!) , Le Roi de Camargue (1935) :
